The Pinetown Pillow Pattern
It’s Day 16 of 30 Days of Cozy!! Today I am proud to present my pattern for the blog hop, the Pinetown Pillow Pattern!
If you haven’t already grabbed the bundle that has all of these patterns in it, then scroll down to the download button to grab the Pinetown Pillow pattern for FREE!
The Pinetown Pillow is my very first pattern using tapestry crochet! If you have never done tapestry crochet, don’t worry! I made it so that this pattern doesn’t require it! It’s completely optional. I actually preferred to do it with multiple strands of yarn instead of tapestry, it’s just a little simpler.
The pillow is made in Bernat Blanket yarn, (buy it on LoveCrafts here), and if you know me, you know I love this yarn! This is one of my absolute favorites, and I’ve been using it for a long time.
Bernat blanket yarn is a chenille-type yarn. It is very soft, thick, and warm. I use it for all sorts of things, and I have designed all sorts of things in it! Make sure to check out my Ravelry, Etsy, and my Shop here on the blog!!
Anyway, back to the pillow! I love mine, it’s not quite big enough to make a crocheting corner, but it’s one step of the way there! I use it, my Diamond Bliss Pillow, and my Jumbo Love Pillow to make my cozy corner!
Crochet pillows are my weakness, in more ways than one! I happen to love making them…but my wrists don’t! The repetitive motion of making a few thousand single crochets in a row kinda makes them hate me… heh.
This pillow rendered me crochet-less for a day or so… The Jumbo Love pillow was a WEEK! So yeah, I probably will rarely be releasing pillow patterns, but hey, there are lots of great designers out there who do mostly pillows! Like Emily from Two Little Birds! Her designs are rustic and beautiful, and she’s really the one who inspired all of my tapestry crocheting… Hah!
